BRIDGEPORT - The Carthage College women's water polo team ranks No. 5 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Top 5 final week poll, earning 80 points.

The Carthage Firebirds went 2-1 on the weekend at the CWPA DIII Tournament. The Firebirds finished fifth out of nine teams in the bracket, fighting for the top two spots to secure their ticket to the USAWP Division III National Championships. The Carthage Firebirds faced Washington and Jefferson, Grove City, and Penn State Behrend. 

The Firebirds concluded their season at the CWPA Division III Tournament this past weekend with their fifth place finish. For more information visit our athletics.carthage.edu.
