LeFevre Named CCIW Offensive Student Athlete of the Week for Women's Lacrosse

NAPERVILLE - Piper LeFevre of the Carthage women's lacrosse team has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Student Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.

LeFevre, a junior from Crystal Lake, Ill., led the Firebirds with five goals and an assist in the Firebirds 13-9 win over Calvin at Art Keller Field on Saturday afternoon. LeFevre currently ranks second on the team in goals with 31 on the season and leads the Firebirds with 10 assists.

The Firebirds (8-1) will travel to Chicago, Ill. on Saturday, April 5 to take on former CCIW foe no. 22 UChicago at 1 p.m. Carthage women's lacrosse returns to Art Keller Field on Wednesday, April 9 against Carroll at 6 p.m. For more information, visit athletics.carthage.edu.
