NAPERVILLE - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes of the Week. For the fourth time this season, Taydin Murphy of the Carthage Men's Swimming and Diving team was named Men's Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for the CCIW, the conference announced Tuesday. 

Murphy, a sophomore from Minooka, Illinois, competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives this past weekend at the Carthage Classic. Murphy took the crown in the 3-meter dive with a score of 444.10. In the 1-meter dive, Murphy scored 370.55 for a third-place finish. 

The Firebirds will go on a break and return in 2026 at Wis.-Oshkosh on Saturday, January 10. For more information, visit our athletics.carthage.edu.
