NAPERVILLE - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes of the Week. AJ Landorf and Taydin Murphy of the Carthage Men's Swimming and Diving team were named Men's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes of the Week for the CCIW, the conference announced Tuesday. 

Landorf, a freshman from Naperville, Illinois, set three personal bests and one season best at the Calvin Quad Invitational this past weekend. In the 100 yard and 200 yard back, Landorf set personal bests with times of 52.76 and 1:59.12. Landorf's other personal best was set in the 100 yard fly, clocking in a time of 52.16. In the 200 yard IM, Landorf set a season best with a time of 1:56.30. 

Murphy, a sophomore from Minooka, Illinois, competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Taking first place in both events, Murphy recorded scores of 410.20 (1-meter) and 381.30 (3-meter). 

The Firebirds return to action at Wheaton for a conference matchup on Friday, November 14. Action is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. For more information, visit our athletics.carthage.edu.
