BLOOMINGTON - Carthage College finished at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic in two spots during the two-day tournament. The first Carthage team placed 14th with a total score of 661 (336+325), while the other team finished 19th with a total of 720 (371+349).


Leading the 14th-placed team were Lexi Manteufel, Alina Brindza, and Abigail Bocock, all tied for 57th with identical scores of 164. Ro Longden followed, tied for 84th with a score of 171, while Mae Norman and McKenna Sosnowski rounded out the team with 175 and 177, respectively.

Lauren Howe and Steda Lundak led the second team, tying for 89th with scores of 175. Braelyn Davoust, Mary Mikolajczak, Toni Powers, and Madeline Midgett completed the effort with scores ranging from 183 to 198.



Carthage will participate in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Preview taking place at Metamora Fields Golf Club on Wednesday, September 18.
