WHITEWATER - The Carthage College women's golf team earned a seventh-place finish at the UW-Whitewater Fall Invite, carding a team score of 666 (332–334) across two rounds Sunday and Monday.
Leading the way for the Firebirds was Lexi Manteufel, who turned in a steady performance to tie for 12th overall with a 158 (+14), highlighted by a strong second round 77 (+5).
Ro Longden and Maddie Midgett followed closely behind, finishing tied for 29th and 33rd with scores of 168 (+24) and 169 (+25), respectively.
Mae Norman contributed a 171 (+27) for a tie at 38th, while
Lauren Howe rounded out Carthage's scoring with a 193 (+49).
