Carthage 6, MSOE 0
KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage women's tennis team hosted the MSOE Raiders on Tuesday afternoon at Smeds Tennis Center. The Firebirds jumped out to an early 6-0 lead before the rain came and forced the match to end before doubles play could begin.

 

In singles play, Xingchen Liu defeated Karley Way 6-1, 6-0. Marie Weis earned the win against Stephania Gonzales 6-2, 5-7, (10-4). Sasha Manojlovic earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Gabrielle Haensgen. Giovanna Mendes defeated Michaela Haensgen with a pair of 6-0 victories. Maddie Kearney shut out Emily Gutknecht 6-0, 6-0 to earn the win. Beatriz Ferreira defeated Bethany Noonan 6-0, 6-0.
