NAPERVILLE - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes of the Week. The conference announced Wednesday, Taydin Murphy of the Carthage Men's Swimming and Diving team was named Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for the CCIW. 

Murphy, a freshman from Minooka, Ill., posted two high scores in the one meter and three meter dives earning first place in both at the Carthage Classic on Saturday, Dec. 7. In the one meter dive, Murphy scored 385.65 and 377.50 in the three meter dive. 

The Firebirds return to action on Saturday, Jan. 11 as the squad travels to UW-Oshkosh. Action is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. For more information, visit athletics.carthage.edu.
