Firebirds Faceoff Against University of Chicago

KENOSHA - The Carthage College women's swimming and diving team returned back home for a matchup against University Chicago Saturday afternoon.

The Firebirds team of Maria Gutzweiler, Rylie Vatch, Grace Norman, and Emily Belcik took second in the 200 yard medley relay in a time of 1:29.69.

Sydney Logan clocked in a time of 11:08.39 in the 1000 yard freestyle for a second place finish.

With a first place finish, Belcik clocked in a time of 1:56.66 in the 200 yard freestyle.

Gutzweiler took second place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 24.76.

Kylie Kramp took third place in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:13.82.

In the one meter dive, Gabriella Garcia took third place with a score of 171.70.

Lois Klinger clocked a time of 1:01.65 in the 100 yard butterfly for a third place finish.

Kramp took second place in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.36.

Norman took first place in the 100 yard breaststroke in a time of 1:10.47.

The Firebirds team of Kramp, Noelle Marsh, Lois Klinger, and Belcik took second in the 400 yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:41.14.
