KENOSHA, Wis. - For the first time this spring, the Firebirds were able to compete at Smeds Tennis Center - and did so with much success. After dropping its conference opener to North Central over the weekend, Carthage dispatched Carroll (Wis.) convincingly to earn its first conference win of the season.
In the win,
Myles Krzewinski extended his winning streak in singles matches to five, while the regionally-ranked No. 1 doubles pairing of Krzewinski and
Yanozie Amadike won its seventh match in a row.
Marco Czosnyka and
Daniel Jaworski have now won four consecutive matches at the No. 3 doubles flight.
