WHEATON, Ill. - As the number two seed in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Tennis Championship, the Carthage Firebirds men's tennis team showcased its dominance in a 5-0 triumph over No. 7 Carroll.
Carthage took all three doubles matches, while victories from
Cooper Ferruzzi (No. 3) and
Miles Whelan (No. 5) in singles clinched the match for the Firebirds. The No. 2 Firebirds will take on No. 3 Millikin in a semifinal showdown tomorrow at 2:30 p.m.
