KENOSHA, Wis. - The Carthage Firebirds women's tennis team is playing its best tennis of the season at the right time. With the 2023 CCIW Women's Tennis Championship just days away, the Firebirds are riding a three-match winning streak and have now won six of their last seven dual matches.

The Firebirds hosted both MSOE and Edgewood today, winning 9-0 and 8-1, respectively. Within the pair of victories, Xingchen Liu won her 20th singles match of the season and is 16-1 in singles in dual matches, winning her last six.
