MEQUON, Wis. - After a two-week hiatus, the Carthage Firebirds women's tennis team returned to action today against Concordia (Wis.), taking a commanding 7-2 victory on the road. The team now moves to 9-8 with two more non-conference dual matches left to play - both coming this Sunday in Kenosha. 

Head men's and women's tennis coach Brady Lindsley now sits just two wins away from 800 career combined coaching wins between Carthage's men's and women's programs. 

Xingchen Liu won her 19th singles match of the season, continuing her incredible pace in just her first year as a Firebird. Liu owns an 19-3 record in singles matches this season, which currently positions her with the 12th-highest single-season winning percentage in singles matches in program history (.863).
