KENOSHA, Wis. - For the second-consecutive time, the Carthage Firebirds men's tennis team earned a sweep of a conference opponent - this time against the visiting Elmhurst Bluejays.
Carthage lost only 13 games in the match between doubles and singles, also picking up wins by forfeit at the No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles flights. Carthage's dominance was aided by both
Daniel Jaworski and
Miles Whelan, who earned 6-0, 6-0 victories over their opponents at the No. 4 and No. 5 singles flights, respectively.Â
Yanozie Amadike inched closer to 100 career wins (singles and doubles combined), picking up his 97th career victory - doing so with doubles partner
Myles Krzewinski at the No. 1 flight.Â
