ELMHURST, Ill. - The Carthage College Firebirds women's tennis team swept Elmhurst on its home courts on Wednesday afternoon, defeating the Blue Jays 9-0. The win was Carthage's first since its season-opening battle with North Park University on September 1, and brings the team closer to a .500 record (2-3 on the year).
