KENOSHA, Wis. — Carthage women's tennis swept Milwaukee School of Engineering 9-0 this Friday afternoon in their last regular season match of the year as well as Senior Night. 

The Firebirds finished their regular season at 9-10 (5-3 CCIW) after their win tonight.

Giana Apostoli and Sam Ramsey opened on doubles court one 8-1 to secure the first court of the day. Rachel Anderson and Giovanna Mendes won court three 8-3, followed by Sasha Manojlovic and Luana Da Silva 8-4 on court two.

Maddie Kearney swept singles court six 6-0, 6-0 before Ramsey and Apostoli won with mutual scores of 6-1, 6-0 on courts two and one. Manojlovic also finished 6-1, 6-0 on court five, while Sierra Sonnemaker took court three 6-2, 6-0. Mendes secured the sweep for the Firebirds on court four 6-3, 1-6, 10-5.

Sam Ramsey and Rachel Anderson were recognized on Senior Night tonight for the effort and contribution they put into the program over their careers at Carthage.
