PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. — The Carthage College women's swim and dive team wrapped up day two of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Swimming Championship in third with 214 teams points on the day for a total of 420 team points, 53 shy of second-place Illinois Wesleyan Friday at RecPlex Aquatic Center. 

Individually, Jordyn Bloode took third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:54.04) for an all-conference selection. 

The relay team of Ashleigh Espinoza, Elise Merucci, Michelle Gorney, and Bloode registered fourth in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:59.26.

The finale of the CCIW Swimming Championships begins on Saturday, February 19, with preliminary races starting at 10:30 a.m.
