Coachs Remarks

"Very competitive weekend of volleyball. Win in five to open up lose in five to No. 13 Oshkosh. I was very proud of the Firebirds stepping up battling the whole weekend. We were down a few players this weekend due to illness, and I thought our team handled it well against some tough competition. Liv Carel had a strong weekend moving over to Ohio Wesleyan and playing six rotations. Kaitie Rohe and Leena Ajibola were our other consistent offensive contributors. Ella Pettinger, Katie Boston and Leena were solid blocking their best attackers. Ashlyn Pahl did a nice job stepping up off the bench to make some key contributions. Our setters stepped up with some strong serving and running the offense. Looking forward to getting everyone back healthy and practicing to take on tough Elmhurst team on Wednesday."

Up Next
  • The Firebirds return to conference play returning home for Senior Day against Elmhurst on Wednesday, October 26 starting at 7 p.m.
