ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - In its last match of the fall, the visiting Carthage College Firebirds women's tennis team sunk the Augustana Vikings 6-3. First-year student-athlete Xingchen Liu picked up another win today, leaving her with an undefeated 8-0 record in dual matches at the #1 singles flight. The win left Carthage with a 4-4 overall record (4-4 CCIW), and the team will now resume play in February of 2023.

• Today's dual match with Augustana represented the last leg of the fall schedule for women's tennis, which now turns its eyes towards the spring. The Firebirds will resume competitive play on Saturday, February 25 in a matchup with UW-Eau Claire, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
