Naperville, Ill. — The Carthage College women's golf team was picked second in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Golf Championship Coaches' Poll announced on Wednesday. 

The Firebirds received 43 points in the poll with one first place vote. Carthage won the last CCIW Women's Golf Championship in 2019 which was the program's first title since 2014. 

The Firebirds gear up for the CCIW Championships starting on Thursday, April 22 at Oak Brook Golf Club.
