RACINE, Wis. — Carthage women's tennis fell 8-1 to Wheaton College as they hosted their third consecutive conference match of the season this Saturday. The match was held at Life Sport Athletic Club in Racine.

After a loss on court two in doubles play, the Firebirds (2-3) would bounce back on court three with an 8-2 dub courtesy of Stephanie Yerges and Kenna Beth. This would be Carthage's only win of the day, however, as they dropped the remaining doubles court and eventually their singles sets.

The Firebirds are back in action on April 7th as they face off against Elmhurst University on the road.
