LAKE GENEVA, Wis. — Carthage men's tennis traveled to the Lake Geneva Tennis Club this Friday to face off against Wisconsin-Whitewater, but fell 8-1 to the opposing team on the road.

Following two losses at court one and three in doubles play, Carthage (0-2) would secure a win on court two led by Nicolas Welker and Tripp Schulte. The home team would secure all six points in singles play.

The Firebirds are scheduled to play again next Friday, February 26 at 6:30 p.m. in Madison, Wisconsin as they take on Wisconsin-eau Claire.
