DAY ONE RESULTS
KENOSHA, WIS.—Yes, you read that byline right. it says Kenosha, Wisconsin as the Carthage College men's track & field team hosted their first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Outdoor Track & Field Meet since 2009 on Friday at Art Keller Field. The Red Men displayed strong marks throughout the opening day, where they concluded with a fourth-place score of 34 points halfway through the event. North Central College (Ill.) sits in first place with 76 points.
Logan Engberg scored five points for the Red Men in the 10,000 meter run, where he clocked-in a fifth-place time of 31:46.93 under the lights.
Isaiah Brown contributed three points for the Red Men with a sixth-place leap of 6.56m in the long jump.
Connor Bell paces the Red Men in the decathlon as his 3099 points through the long jump, shot put, high jump and 400 meter dash portions puts him in fifth place.
The Red Men will compete on day two of the 2019 CCIW Outdoor Track & Field Championship tomorrow, Saturday, May 4 at Art Keller Field for a 10:00 a.m. start time.
