WHITEWATER, WIS.—The Carthage College men's tennis team wrapped-up their 2019 regular season with a road bout at UW-Whitewater on Thursday. The Red Men suffered an 8-1 setback, ending their 2019 regular season with a 14-9, 3-4 CCIW record. UW-Whitewater improves to 15-6 overall.

The Red Men couldn't muster a doubles win, but were able to conclude the match on a high note. Matt Krzewinski gave the Red Men something to cheer about in #5 singles, where he posted a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6) hard-fought victory over Brendan Pietila. Krzewinski's nail-biting win is all Carthage could come up with in an 8-1 loss to the Warhawks.
 
The Red Men will compete in the 2019 CCIW Men's Tennis Championship on Thursday, May 2 – Saturday, May 4 in Decatur, Illinois. Their quarterfinal opponent will be determined following the final slate of CCIW contests on Saturday, April 27^.
