ELMHURST, ILL.—The Carthage College men's tennis team's final CCIW tune-up pitted them at Elmhurst College for a Wednesday-afternoon battle. The Red Men tallied an 8-1 waxing over the Bluejays, which improves them to 14-8, 3-4 CCIW. Elmhurst falls to 5-10, 1-4 CCIW.

Fordy Leipold came through with an 8-0 thrashing over Tavious Imperial/Chris Wallace in the #3 match.
The Red Men swept the singles portion en route to an 8-1 victory. Leipold was a force to be reckoned with in the #6 slot, where he waxed Tavious Imperial 6-4, 6-1.
Daniel Moore joined the waxing trend with a 6-1, 6-1 decision over David Demoll in the #1 flight.
Tripp Schulte converted a 6-2, 6-5 win over Shawn Sabaricos (#2) while
Andre Antreassian was victorious in #3 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Grant O'Connell.
John Nykyforuk trounced Lance Maharry by default in #4 singles before
Matt Krzewinski continued to show he's one of the top #5 players in NCAA Division III with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Chris Wallace.
The Red Men will wrap-up regular season play on Thursday, April 25 at UW-Whitewater for a 2:00 p.m. start.
