KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College men's tennis team concluded an eight-match home stand on Sunday with bouts against Lake Forest College and Illinois Institute of Technology at the Life Sport Athletic Club in Kenosha. The Red Men cruised to a 9-0 sweep over the Foresters before they suffered their second loss of the season in a 6-3 heartbreaker against IIT.
The split sends the Red Men's record to 7-2.

Matt Krzewinski converted an 8-3 decision over Joe Bove/Aidan Burke to give Carthage a 3-0 cushion heading into singles.
John Nykyforuk picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win over Aidan Burke in #2 singles while
Andre Antreassian won by that same score in the #3 slot over Joe Bove.
Daniel Moore was victorious 6-3, 6-2 over Matt Kacyn in #1 singles, while
Matt Krzewinski was nearly perfect in the #4 hole with a 6-0, 6-2 decision over Brant Christensen.
Kevin Dunn beat Matthew Pawlowski 6-4, 6-0 in #5 singles while
Austin Sternbach completed the sweep with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Carson Chen in #6 singles.

The Red Men had to rely on their singles matches to dig them out of a hole as they failed to convert a victory in doubles.
Daniel Moore kicked things off with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Pol Santiago in #1 singles.
Andre Antreassian defeated David Housman 6-4, 6-3 in #4 singles while
Matt Krzewinski was the last match to finish as he ran away with a 6-4, 7-6 win over Adam Laitinen in the #5 slot. It proved to be too late for the Red Men as IIT clinched a 6-3 victory.
Carthage will return to action on Monday, March 4 in Orlando, Florida against Otterbein University at 9:00 a.m. (ET).
