NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Carthage College Red Men dropped their College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin semifinal on Friday afternoon, falling to the top-seeded Vikings of Augustana College, 5-2.
 
The loss drops the Red Men to 12-11 on the year, while the Vikings, ranked 19th in the region, improve to 17-10 and advance to tomorrow's CCIW Championship match.
 
Herman Abban and Daniel Moore provided the highlights for the Red Men on the day, as Abban and Moore teamed up to top Eric Pohl and Samuel Totten in number-one singles, 9-7.  Abban followed the doubles win up with the lone singles win for the Red Men, defeating Totten in straight-sets, 6-4, 6-1.
