KENOSHA, WIS.—The #3 Carthage College men's lacrosse team (12-5, 4-2 CCIW) will face #2 Elmhurst College in the 2018 CCIW Men's Lacrosse Tournament Semifinal at Langhorst Field in Elmhurst, Illinois on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. This will mark Carthage's first road CCIW Tournament Game in their four years in the conference. The Red Men sport a 4-2 all-time record in the CCIW Tournament that's resulted in one championship for them (2016).

The CCIW doesn't receive one of the 25 automatic bids given to conference tournament winners. CCIW teams may qualify for two of the pool "B" bids given to teams in conferences without an automatic qualifier, or one of the nine pool "C" at-large slots.
