KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage College Lady Reds dominated the Milwaukee School of Engineering to open their 2018 spring outdoor season on Wednesday afternoon, defeating the Raiders in a sweep, 9-0.
The win sends the Lady Reds to 12-5 in 2017-18, while the Raiders fall to 9-6.
The Lady Reds opened with a convincing 3-0 sweep of the double competition as Carthage won 8-1, 8-2 and 8-0 in doubles one through three respectively.
The women's tennis squad then carried the impressive performance over into singles, where Carthage did not drop a set in the win. In order, the Lady Reds got singles wins by

The Lady Reds will return to action on Sunday, heading back indoors due to the forcecast, when Carthage takes on Edgewood College at 9:00 a.m. and St. Norbert College at 4:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at the Racine Tennis Club.
