Red Men Fall To #37 Warhawks Friday Night, 8-1

RACINE, Wis. – The Carthage College Red Men dropped their final scheduled indoor match of the season on Friday as the men's tennis program fell to the #37 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, 8-1.
 
The loss drops the Red Men to 3-3 on the season, while the Warhawks, also ranked seventh in the region, improve to 7-2 in 2018.
 
After falling in the doubles two and three, Herman Abban and Daniel Moore looked to salvage a point in number one doubles, however fell in a thrilling tiebreaker [9-8 (7-5)].  Abban rebounded and earned the Red Men's lone win of the night as he topped Zane Navratil in number one singles.

Next up for the Red Men, they will join the Lady Reds in Orlando for their annual spring break trip.  The Red Men will open with Wabash College on March 5th at 9:00 a.m. EST.
