RACINE, Wis. – The Carthage College Lady Reds rebounded in a nice way on Sunday, from their Saturday loss, defeating the North Central College Cardinals at the Racine Tennis Club, 6-3
The win moves the Lady Reds to 4-2 in the dual matches and 4-2 in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, while North Central falls to 6-3 and 4-3 in the conference.
After falling in one-doubles, the Lady Reds earned a 2-1 advantage through the pairs competition after
Natalie Favia and
Nia Pham, and
Maria Salerno and
Hannah Haeberle won their two and three-doubles matches respective matches.
Carthage sealed the win with wins in singles by Ramsey in three's, Salerno in four's, Pham in five's and
Ashley Woods in six's.
