WHEATON, Ill. – The Carthage College women's tennis team suffered their second setback of the season on Wednesday, falling at Wheaton College, 9-0.
 
The loss sends the Lady Reds to 3-2 on the season and in the CCIW, while Wheaton improves to 4-0 in the conference and 5-0 overall.
 
After dropping the doubles two and three matches, Max Mella and Angelica Emmanouil gave the Lady Reds their best chance on the night, but fell in number-one doubles, 9-7.

The Lady Reds will return to action after more than a week off on Friday, October 6th when Carthage visits Millikin for their sixth CCIW matchup of the season.  First serve is set for 3:00 p.m.
