WHEATON, Ill. – The Carthage College women's tennis team suffered their second setback of the season on Wednesday, falling at Wheaton College, 9-0.
The loss sends the Lady Reds to 3-2 on the season and in the CCIW, while Wheaton improves to 4-0 in the conference and 5-0 overall.
After dropping the doubles two and three matches,
Max Mella and
Angelica Emmanouil gave the Lady Reds their best chance on the night, but fell in number-one doubles, 9-7.
