ORLANDO, Fla. – The Carthage College women's tennis team completed a successful week in Florida on Friday with their third win of the week, defeating Calvin College, 8-1.

The win moves the Lady Reds to 11-4 in 2016-17 and the loss sends Calvin to 5-5.

The Lady Reds opened with a pair of wins in the doubles competition as
Max Mella and
Angelica Emmanouil defeated Claire Spoelhof and Ellie Benzel [8-4], and
Casey Frommer and
Kristen Kalinka topped Liz Turner and Lark Foote [8-2].

The Lady Reds followed that up with a sweep of the singles competition as Frommer, Mella, Emmanouil, Kalinka,
Paige Moritz and
Natalie Favia won the one through six singles matches in straight sets respectively.
