FULL GAME NOTES
THE GAMES
-The Sunshine State will host the Carthage College women's basketball team's (6-3, 1-2 CCIW) games against Drew University (5-3, 0-1 Landmark) on Wednesday, December 20 at 12:00 p.m. (ET), and Simpson College (7-3, 2-1 IIAC) on Thursday, December 21 at 12:00 p.m. (ET) at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla.
-The Rangers from Drew University are led by freshman post player Moe Campbell Davis, who paces the team with 12.0 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game.
-Julia Ramos paces Drew on the defensive end with 28 steals and 3.50 steals per game, which both lead all Landmark Conference players.
-The Lady Reds and Rangers will both take a two-game win streak into Wednesday's bout. Drew is coming off a 63-47 victory over Centenary (N.J.) on December 6, and a 70-41 thumping of Cedar Crest on December 8.
-The Simpson College Storm will face Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday, December 20, followed by their outing with the Lady Reds on Thursday, December 21.
-The Storm lead the IIAC and rank sixth in NCAA Division III with a .474 field goal percentage.
-Simpson also leads the IIAC in free throws made (150), three-point field goal percentage (.355) and turnovers forced (25.30).
-Noreen Morrow leads the IIAC with a .620 field goal percentage and four double-doubles. She also paces Simpson in scoring with 13.7 points per game.
-The Storm fell to UW-Stevens Point 69-66 on November 17, their lone common opponent with Carthage thus far into 2017-18. Simpson defeated Carroll University (Wis.) 85-54 on November 18, an opponent Carthage will face twice throughout the final two months of the season.
THE COACHES
-John Olenowski is in his 26th season as Drew University head women's basketball coach.
-The 2017-18 season marks Brian Niemuth's 31st as Simpson College head women's basketball coach. Niemuth, who also serves as Simpson Athletic Director, carried a 559-245 career record into the 2017-18 season. His 559 victories ranks 20th among all-time NCAA Division III women's basketball coaches.
THE SERIES
-The Lady Reds will face Drew for the first time in school history.
-Carthage fell to Simpson 84-82 OT in the lone meeting between the schools on November 21, 2008.
LAST TIME OUT
-The Lady Reds defeated Knox College 77-36 on December 16, their lone game last week.
-Madie Kaelber notched a career-high six three-point field goals against the Prairie Fire, which led to a game-high 18 points. Autumn Kalis registered all of her 15 points from the three-point line, where she registered a 5-for-8 figure.
-The Lady Reds tallied a season-high .469 field goal percentage, and 28 assists in their victory over Knox College.

Carthage will face Drew University and Simpson College in Daytona Beach, Fla. on December 20-21. The Lady Reds carry a 5-2 all-time record in the Sunshine State. All seven contests in Florida took place in December.

HOME-COOKING
The Lady Reds own a 8-2 record at Tarble Arena in 2017, which includes a 3-0 mark in 2017-18.
REBOUND, REBOUND, REBOUND
Carthage is 5-0 this season when they have more rebounds than their opponent.
NEUTRAL SITE VIBES
The Lady Reds own a five-game win streak in neutral site contests. Their last loss in neutral territory occurred in a 67-60 decision against St. Vincent College on December 20, 2015.
NOTABLE NCAA/CCIW RANKINGS (12/19)
Morgan Harris leads the CCIW with 35.00 minutes per game and 9.0 defensive rebounds per game. Her 9.0 defensive rebounds ranks 12th among all NCAA Division III players. Bailey Gilbert ranks 23rd in the country with a .481 three-point field goal percentage.
MILESTONE WATCH
Bailey Gilbert, who owns 150 career three pointers, recently moved into fourth place on the Carthage all-time three-point field goal list. Haley Stercic (2011-14) holds the Lady Reds career record for most three-point field goals with 202. Morgan Harris currently ranks second on the Carthage all-time free-throw percentage list with an .801 (237-296) figure.
