Four Firebirds Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors for Women's Basketball

GREENWOOD - Carthage women's basketball was honored with four student-athletes - Nora Ahram, Grace Cord, Malia Green, and Whitney Thompson - being named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team by College Sport Communicators (CSC), the organization announced Tuesday.

This is the first time that Ahram, Cord, and Thompson have been recognized as Academic All-District. Green earned her second consecutive recognition, while also being selected as a finalist for the CSC Academic All-America Award, which will be selected April 15, 2026.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® women's basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
