ATLANTA - The Carthage women's basketball team was ranked 13th in NCAA Division III in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 2025-26 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Rolls, the Association announced Tuesday.

The Firebirds finished off the 2025-26 school year with a combined 3.780 GPA and are the only program to represent the CCIW in the Top 25 this year. This is the second consecutive season in the Top 25 for the Firebirds, as the program was ranked No. 9 in the 2024-25 WBCA Academic Honor Roll.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in their respective divisions that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. The 2025-26 season is the 31st in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.
