FULL GAME NOTES
THE GAME
-The Carthage College women's basketball team will travel to Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday, January 14 for a 5:00 p.m. contest.
-The Titans (9-5, 4-1 CCIW) will take a four-game win streak into their meeting with the Lady Reds. This includes a 93-54 win over North Park University on January 11.
-Illinois Wesleyan will enter Saturday in a three-way tie with Augustana and Wheaton for first place in the CCIW.
-Molly McGraw paces the Titans in scoring with 18.5 points per game.
-Illinois Wesleyan ranks eighth among NCAA Division III schools in scoring offense (78.6), and ninth in turnover margin (8.24).
THE COACHES
-The 2016-17 season is Mia Smith's 19th as Illinois Wesleyan head women's basketball coach.
-Smith owns a 346-149 (.699) record in 18 full seasons at Illinois Wesleyan.
THE SERIES
-Carthage own a 28-37 all-time record against the Titans.
-Illinois Wesleyan defeated the Lady Reds last season by scores of 76-54 and 75-72.
LAST TIME OUT
-The Lady Reds registered a 65-50 win over North Park University on January 4, and a 59-56 loss to Elmhurst College on January 7 en route to a 1-1 mark last week.
-Carthage held North Park to 16-of-74 (.216) from the field, the lowest mark they've held any opponent this season.
-Autumn Kalis nailed all six of her three-point attempts en route to 18 points in Carthage's victory over North Park.
-Morgan Harris tallied her second double-double of the season in the Lady Red's loss to Elmhurst with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

RECORD WATCH
Harris sits in first place on the Carthage College record book with an .817 (196-240) career free-throw percentage.
CONFERENCE/NATIONAL RANKINGS
The Lady Reds lead the CCIW in assist turnover ratio (1.12), fewest turnovers (195), three-point field goal percentage (.374) and turnovers per game (15.0). Their .374 three-point field goal percentage ranks ninth in NCAA Division III. Morgan Harris paces the CCIW with 72 assists, 5.5 assists per game and one triple-double. Her 5.5 assists per game ranks 11th in NCAA Division III while her 72 assists is 15th in the country.
STATISTICAL LEADERS
Morgan Harris paces the Lady Reds in scoring with 13.3 points per game. Madie Kaelber is on her heels with 13.2 points per game. Harris leads Carthage in rebounds per game (6.9), assists per game (5.5) and steals per game (1.5). Monica Masini's .552 (32-of-58) field goal percentage, Kalis's .451 three-point field goal percentage and Gilbert's 30 three-point field goals made lead the team.
CALLING ALL ALUMNI
Alumni Day for both the Red Men and Lady Reds basketball teams is set for Saturday, February 11 at Tarble Arena. The women's alumni game will take place at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 2:00 p.m. A pizza reception will take place from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the Todd Wehr Center. The Red Men and Lady Reds will host Illinois Wesleyan University at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
SEASON-HIGHS
Masini (nine rebounds, three assists vs. Elmhurst), Morgan Vukovich (31 minutes vs. North Park) and Sammie Woodward (two assists vs. North Park) tallied season-highs for the Lady Reds last week.
BALANCED ATTACK
Eight different Lady Reds have scored in double figures through 13 games of the 2016-17 season.
