GRAND LAKE, Colo. ā Academic accolades continued to roll in following the 2015-16 seasonsĀ as the Carthage College women's lacrosse program was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches AssociationĀ for their achievements in the class room this past semester.

As a team, the Lady Reds we named as a 2016 IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad as head women's lacrosse coach
Lauren Hein's team achieved a team GPA above 3.0 for the year.

Additionally, two Lady Reds picked up individual honors as
Cody Tucker and
Elizabeth Wittenborg were recognized as members of the 2016 Zag Sports Division IIIĀ Academic Honor Roll.Ā Tucker, a senior public relations major, and Wittenborg, a senior elementary education major, each completed their college careers with cumulative GPAs above 3.50.

To go with the individual honors, both were also members of the 2016 CCIW Spring Academic All-Conference team along with fellow Lady Reds teammates

Adding to the list or recognitions, Wittenborg was also Carthage College's 2016 CCIW Spring Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference honoree.
