Loser's BracketKENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College women's tennis team will participate in the Midwest Invite in Madison on April 1-2. The invite, hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College, will begin at 8:00 a.m on April 1.

Augustana (Ill.), Washington University, UW-Whitewater, Denison University, Kenyon University, Hope College, DePauw University, Kalamazoo College, University of Chicago, Gustavus Adolphus College and Carthage will make up the 11-team field at the Midwest Invite.

The Lady Reds will begin the Midwest Invite on April 1 with an 8:00 a.m. match against Kalamazoo College. The winner of the match will face the University of Chicago at 1:00 p.m. on April 1. The losing team will face the loser between Hope College and Kenyon University in the loser's bracket at 1:00 p.m. on April 1.

From there, matches will commence on Saturday, April 2.

The Lady Reds are coming off four-of-five wins in Florida. Their only loss came to NAIA power SCAD-Atlanta 5-4 on March 22.

Max Mella's stellar performance in Florida landed her CCIW Women's Tennis Player of the Week honors on March 30. Mella registered a 3-2 record in singles play over the five-game span, and teamed with
Angelica Emmanouil for a 4-1 mark in doubles action.

The Lady Reds will take on UW-Whitewater at the Smeds Tennis Center at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 10. The Warhawks are also competing in the Gustavus Adolphus Midwest Invite.
