ORLANDO, FLA.—The Carthage College men's tennis team closed their Spring Trip with a 5-4 loss to Grinnell College on Thursday afternoon in Orlando, Fla.
 
Carthage edged Grinnell 3-2 in doubles play. The Chris Conley/Pawel Jaworski and Alex Boomgarden/Ryan Jump tandems each claimed 8-6 victories.
 
The Red Men mustered two victories in the singles flight. Jump claimed a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Cole Miller while Jaworski registered a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7) victory over CJ Ray in singles action.
 
The Red Men will return to action on Saturday, April 2 against Illinois Welseyan University. Game time from the Racine Tennis Club is slated for 2:00 p.m.
