The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) men's lacrosse coaches picked Carthage College to win the league's inaugural title. according to a pre-season coaches poll.
The Red Men, coming off a record of 15-6 in 2014, won the poll with 25 points, including five first-place votes. Augustana College (Ill.) was second with 21 points including one first-place vote, followed by Illinois Wesleyan University (16 points) third, Elmhurst College (13 points) fourth, Carroll University (Wis.) (8 points) fifth and the University of Dubuque (7 points) ranked sixth.

Carthage opens its 2015 season with a two-day trip to Memphis, Tenn. The Red Men start the season on Saturday, Feb. 14 by playing Southwestern University (Texas) in a 1 p.m. game at Rhodes College's Fargason Field. On Sunday, Feb. 15, the Red Men take on Rhodes in a Noon contest.
