Lady Reds Play Host to Dubuque on Saturday

Box Score The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (8-5, 6-2 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) edged conference-opponent Concordia University (Wis.. 10-4, 6-2 MWLC), 15-13, on Tuesday, April 22 at Fitting Field in Mequon, Wis.
 
The Falcons led by six at halftime, 9-3.  The Lady Reds still trailed by six goals, 11-5, at 25:22 second period before scoring seven of the next eight goals to tie the game, 12-12, at 8:23.  The contest was tied again, 13-13, at 6:24 before Carthage scored the final two goals for the 15-13 win.  Lauren Chatham scored, unassisted, at 4:40, and Anna Schweiss, assisted by Madison Griffin, scored the final goal at 1:52.
 
Lauren Chatham (Sr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) led Carthage with five goals, three assists and six ground balls, while Sydney Whitaker (Sr., Bainbridge, Wash.) had four goals and two ground balls.  Taylor Holleschau (Jr., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) had two goals, one assist and nine ground balls.  Sammi Reiter led the Falcons with six goals, one assist and six ground balls.
 
On Saturday, April 26, the Lady Reds play host to conference-foe the University of Dubuque (4-8, 2-5 MWLC) in a 1 p.m. contest at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
