Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 The Carthage College softball team (6-4, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin), ranked 17th in the March 26 National Fastpitch Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll, went 6-4 on it spring trip to the NTC Spring Games in Clermont, Fla.  On Saturday, March 22, Carthage opened the trip by defeating Lawrence University (1-2), 9-4, before blanking Carleton College (1-8) by a 14-0 margin.
 
Carthage blanked Buena Vista University (2-8), 8-0, on Sunday, March 23 before losing to the University of Chicago (4-0), 1-0.  On Monday, March 24, the Lady Reds defeated D'Youville College (2-5), 3-0, before losing to Hamline University (5-6-1), 3-2.  On Wednesday, March 26, Carthage lost to Wisconsin-Whitewater, 4-2, before playing the College of St. Catherine at 1 p.m.  The trip concluded on Thursday, March 27 with a 3-2 loss to No. 7 Luther College (13-2) and a 4-1 win over Colby College (3-6).
 
Carthage is scheduled to play host to St. Mary's College (Ind.) on Tuesday, April 1 in a 3:30 p.m. doubleheader at the Carthage Softball Field in Kenosha, Wis.
