Box Score The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (6-1, 2-0 Midwest Lacrosse Conference) shut out conference-opponent Defiance College (0-6, 0-2 MLC), 24-0, on Saturday, March 22 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.  Carthage led, 8-0, after the first period; 15-0 at halftime; and 20-0 after three periods.
 
Timothy Francis (Jr., Costa Mesa, Calif./Huntington Beach) led the Red Men with five goals, one assist and one ground ball.  Joe Divizio (Jr., Hoffman Estates, Ill.) had four goals.  Jack Meachum (Sr., Naperville, Ill./North) scored three goals with one assist and seven ground balls, Danny Morse (Sr., O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon Township) three goals with four assists and three ground balls, Tanner Thomas (So., Parker, Colo./Regis Jesuit) three goals and two assists and Billy Lane (Fr., Centennial, Colo./Kent Denver) three goals with two assists and four ground balls.
 
Carthage travels to Milwaukee on Monday, March 24 to conference-opponent the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a 7 p.m. game at Viets Field.
