Alex Boomgarden (So., Fitchburg, Wis./Verona Area, 13-7) defeated the Bluejays' Alex Harbert at No. 1 singles, 7-6(6), 7-6(2).Â
Ryan Jump (So., Mundelein, Ill., 12-6) lost to Will Jung at No. 2 singles, the latter winning, 6-3, 6-2.Â
Pawel Jaworski (Fr., Deerfield, Ill., 12-5) was a winner at  No. 3 singles, as was
Chris Conley (So., Elm Grove, Wis./Brookfield Academy, 10-7) at No. 4 singles.Â
Tony O'Connell (So., Roswell, N.M./Natabua, 13-5) lost at No. 5 singles, as did
Alex Ferruzzi (So., Kenosha, Wis./Salem-Westosha Central, 9-7) at No. 6 singles.

Chris Conley (2-2) lost to the Bluejays' Alex Harbert/Will Jung. 8-6. The Red Men's No. 2 team of
Alex Boomgarden and
Ryan Jump (2-1) won their match, but the No. 3 tandem of
Tony O'Connell and Alex Feruzzi (0-1) lost.

Carthage opens a three-match spring trip to Orlando, Fla., on Sunday, March 23 by playing Hamline University at 9 a.m. (all times EDT). On Monday, March 24, the Red Men take on Luther College at 9 a.m., and the trip concludes on Thursday, March 27 versus Calvin College at 9 a.m.
