Box Score The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (2-1, 0-0 Midwest Lacrosse Conference) edged Centre College (0-1), 12-10, on Sunday, Feb. 23 at Joe McDaniel Field at Farris Stadium in Danville, Ky. 

The Red Men led, 2-1, after the first period, 6-3 at halftime and 9-7 after the third period.  The Colonels tied the game, 10-10, at 9:45 fourth period, but Carthage goals by Rémy Giacotto at 9:27 and Jake Cymbal at 7:32 sealed the win.
 
Carthage's Tanner Thomas (So., Parker, Colo./Regis Jesuit) scored four goals, with Danny Morse (Sr., O'Fallon, Ill/O'Fallon Township) scoring three goals with a ground ball.  Zack Connors led Centre with three goals, two assists and three ground balls. 

Carthage travels to Wauwatosa, Wis., on Saturday, March 1 to play conference-opponent the Milwaukee School of Engineering in a 1 p.m. game at Viets Field.
