Haleigh McPeek (Sr., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 10-2) defeated Wheaton's Julie Buursma, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
Max Mella (Fr., Warren, Ill./Warren Township, 8-3) was defeated at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-2.
Abbi Howell (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest, 11-4) was a winner at No. 3 singles, as was
Eliza Barter (So., Deerfield, Ill./Wilmette-Loyola Academy, 9-4) at No. 4 singles.
Taylor Bolyard (Fr., Kenosha, Wis./Tremper, 8-1) at No. 5 singles and
Kirsten Peterson (Jr., Hastings, Minn./Hastings, 9-2) at No. 6 singles lost their matches against Wheaton.

The No. 1 doubles tandem of McPeek and Mella (15-2) defeated Wheaton's duo of Buursma and Katie Park, 8-3. The duo of Howell and Barter (10-2) were defeated at No. 2 doubles.
Kristen Kalinka (So., Kenosha, Wis./St. Joseph's) and Bolyard (10-1) were successful at No. 3 doubles, winning. 8-5.

The Lady Reds travel to Bloomington, Ill. for the CCIW Women's Tennis Championship on Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 16-18 at the Evergreen Racquet Club.
