The Carthage College women's tennis team (4-1, 2-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) won its fourth-straight match on Wednesday, Sept. 11 by shutting out the Milwaukee School of Engineering (1-6), 9-0, in a twilight match at the Smeds Tennis Center in Kenosha, Wis.

Bari Reynolds (Sr., Sterling, Ill., 4-1) defeated MSOE's Marly Trier at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-2.
Haleigh McPeek (Jr. Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 3-2) defeated the Raiders' Michelle Roubik at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-1.
Abbi Howell (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest, 4-4) was a winner at No. 3 singles, as was
Eliza Barter (Fr., Deerfield, Ill./Wilmette-Loyola Academy, 4-4) at No. 4 singles,
Holly Weber (Sr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central, 4-1) at No. 5 singles and
Kelsey Bowen (Sr., Beach Park, Ill./Zion-Benton Township, 4-1) at No. 6 singles against the Cardinals.
The Lady Reds' No. 1 doubles team of Reynolds and McPeek (7-1) defeated MSOE's Trier/Roubik, 8-2. Carthage's No 2 team of Howell and Barter (3-2) was a winner, as was the Lady Reds' No. 3 tandem of Weber and
Kristen Kalinka (Fr., Kenosha, Wis./St. Joseph, 7-1).
On Friday, Sept. 13, the Lady Reds travel to Bloomington, Ill., for a 3 p.m. CCIW-match versus Illinois Wesleyan University at the Beadles-Morse Tennis Courts.
