Box Score The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (7-2, 2-0 Midwest Lacrosse Conference) defeated conference-opponent Benedictine University (Ill., 4-6, 2-2 MLC), 17-7, on Wednesday, April 3 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. 
 
Carthage led, 6-1, after the first period, 11-1 at halftime and 13-2 going into the final period.  Danny Morse (Jr., O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon Township) led the Red Men with five goals.  Jared Ferrell (Fr., Trabuco Canyon, Calif./El Toro) had four goals, Peter Slefinger (Sr., Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton-Warrenville South) three goals and Jack Meachum (Jr., Naperville, Ill./North) two goals, one assist and four ground balls.  Hunter Douglas (Sr. Colorado Springs, Colo./Cheyenne Mountain) was 12-for-24 in face offs with 12 ground balls.  Tyler Buschow led the Eagles with five goals. 

The Red Men travel to Rock Island, Ill., on Saturday, April 6 to take on Augustana College (Ill., 5-3, 2-0 MLC) in a 1 p.m. contest at Thorson-Lucken Field.
