Bari Reynolds (Jr., Sterling, Ill., 16-11) lost to the Warhawks' Sydney Divelbiss at No. 1 singles, Divelbiss winning, 6-1, 7-5.
Haleigh McPeek (So., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 18-7) lost to UW-Whitewater's Alexandra Bayliss at No. 2 singles, Bayliss winning, 6-0, 6-2.
Erin Henrickson (So., Darien, Ill./Hinsdale-South, 10-12) lost at No. 3 singles, as did
Abbi Howell (So., Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest, 13-10) at No. 4 singles,
Kelsey Bowen (Jr., Beach Park, Ill./Zion-Benton Township, 5-4) at No. 5 singles and
Holly Weber (Jr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central, 14-5) at No. 6 singles.
Carthage's No.1 doubles team of Reynolds and McPeek (18-5) lost to the Warhawks' Divelbiss and Bayliss, 9-8(10-4). The No. 2 team of Henrickson and Howell (16-9) lost, as did the No. 3 tandem of Weber and
Kirsten Peterson (Fr., Hastings, Minn., 6-7).
On Sunday, April 28, the Lady Reds conclude their regular-season schedule by traveling to La Crosse, Wis., for a double-dual match at Wisconsin-La Crosse, taking on the host-Eagles at 9 a.m. and Edgewood College at Noon.
